Party at the DC Open and other USPL News

Hooters will be sponsoring the DC Challenge VIP on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets will be available for purchase on-site!

Players Bonfire Party Saturday night! On-site in the VIP and Barbeque Pit starting at 6:00 pm Saturday night or after the last game.

Welcome Players Cookout hosted by the Pro Teams!
Walk the fields and check your team in Thursday, August 27th and then enjoy the free “Welcome Players Cookout” hosted by the PRO TEAMS! The party will be on-site Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Enjoy mingling with the other teams, sponsors and pro players as you enjoy plenty of free food and drinks! The captain’s meeting will be held near the barbeque inside the VIP tent at 5:00 pm. RSVP for the Barbeque by emailing [email protected] with the number of people expected to attend from your team.

USPL has also picked up some new event sponsors.

Jaguar Land Rover Chantilly have just signed on as a sponsor and will have cars on display each day!

Chick-fil-A will be on site selling their delicious chicken sandwiches and will be providing lunch to the Referees and USPL Staff!

Monster Energy Drink will be handing out FREE samples to all the players and fans!

The Paintball Sports Trade Association (PSTA) will be holding a meeting Thursday afternoon at the USPL Host Hotel (Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles) at 1:00 pm. Paintball manufacturers and business owners interested in attending should visit www.paintball.org for more information.

Also, series champs will be announced in Las Vegas at the World Paintball Championship and get some nifty prizes.

USPL Players: Open Practice and Pro Ref Training at SC Village

This weekend, July 18 and 19, SC Village will have 2 USPL fields set up. The fields will be used for the pro ref training but USPL players may play on it for $10/player.

What: NPPL PRO Referee Training Course
When: Saturday and Sunday; July 18 – 19, 2009
Where: SC Village Paintball Park, 8900 McCarty Road, Chino, CA
Time: The course will run Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
PRO Referee Cost: No fee for referees already certified but wanting to ref in the USPL
USPL Player Cost: $10.00 fee per player payable at the field.
New Referee Cost: $50.00 certification fee per referee looking to get certified
