Redskins Rookie, LaRon Landry, “Intentionally” Shot

More details about LaRon Landry getting shot in the groin emerge, or at least a rumor. Now, it seems that one of his teammates intentionally shot him, compared to being accidentally shot? I thought the whole point of the game was to shoot the other team. Thankfully, there is more to the story.

Landry had “shot” one of his Redskins teammates, knocking him out of the game. Then, Landry walked up to the player, who was on the ground at the time, and proclaimed that he was going to finish him off, execution style.

The teammate then raised his paintball gun and shot Landry point-blank in the crotch.

So now, Landry was being a complete idiot trying to “finish someone off execution style,” while his teammate didn’t want to have any of it and shot Landry before Landry could shoot him, again. Both are at fault, I guess. Landry shouldn’t have tried to shoot someone who was already out, especially at point blank range, while the teammate shouldn’t have shot him after being out, especially in the groin at point blank range.

Now, this is still an unsubstantiated rumor at this point, but I would put it pretty high on the believability scale.

A Paintball Takes Out Redskins Rookie

Sorry I didn’t write about this earlier, busy past couple of days.

A shot to the groin of Redskins rookie LaRon Landry caused him to miss practice on Friday. He, with many other defensive players, went on a team-building outing to play paintball. The 6th pick in the draft should be fine after a few days of rest.

Kinda funny when you think about it. Big defensive player taken out by a little tiny ball.

I’ll now show Mr. Landry, having not been getting shot in the groin, making a massive hit:

PbShots. Useless.

MobZor, the social network site running phpFoX and now PHPizabi, has launched another turnkey site, PbShots, a paintball image hosting site.

freehosting.jpg

It’s like Photobucket or Flickr, but crappier with horrible limits and only for a niche market. Like 20 MB of space, compared to 2 GB with Photobucket and 100 MB a month with Flickr. Or the 255 MB bandwidth limit (which is just under 13 people viewing your 20 MB limit), compared to 25 GB with Photobucket or unlimited with Flickr.

But if you don’t like those, you can upgrade for $3 a month, instead of using one of those better free services available that actually have a lot of experience with loads of traffic and image hosting, instead of just buying a script, slapping some logos on it, and trying to sell it.

Smart Parts And KEE Settle Patent Dispute

Smart Parts and KEE Action Sports settled a suit brought on by Smart Parts which accused KEE of infringing on patents 5,881,707, 5,967,133 6,035,843, 6,474,326, 6,637,421, and 7,100,593. The settlement included a royalty-bearing license for KEE to produce electronic markers, KEE having to stop production on insert barrel kits, namely the Empire Revolver, and KEE is now an official distributer of Smart Parts goods.

Rack up another one for sue happy Smart Parts and all their patents, though KEE isn’t exactly innocent.
