Are you and your team staying at the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles for the DC Open? If you are, then you get a 10% discount on all meals (alcohol not included) at the Texas Roadhouse next door. Just show your room key to your server or the manager and you get the 10% discount off your total bill.
UPDATE: You do not need to be staying at the Marriott to get the 10% discount anymore. The 10% discount has been extended to everyone that is participating in the DC Challenge. Just show them your PEVS card, in your team packet given at registration, and you get the discount.
Come out to the DC Challenge at PEVS on August 28-30 and pick up a free pass (Pass includes free field fee, air, rental and safety equipment. Pass does not cover paint) to come back and play for free. Just drop by the registration tent and ask for your free pass to PEVS.
PSP is offering a 2-day clinic to allow you to be a certified ref. The clinic will be held September 12th and 13th at Splat Paintball in North Lawrence, Ohio. The cost to attend is $85.00 and capped at 60 people. Minimum age suggested is 16.
The clinic includes:
– classroom training
– Topics to include, but not limited to: rules, positioning, safety, presentation, & attitude.
– Written test on PSP rules & in-game situations
– On field training
– Performance evaluation in key areas
– PSP rulebook, covering all formats
– Certificate of clinic completion
– Day 1 – Check-in begins at 9:30 AM, classroom training to begin at 10:00 AM, clinic ends at 4:30 PM (approximately)
– Day 2 – Classroom begins at 10:00 AM, Live scrimmage reffing, clinic ends at 3:00 PM
