The design of these MacDev playing pants has been overseen by MacDev’s longest serving pro player, Jerry Desvarieux. Jerry is well known for his aggressive playing style, and would blast through pants all the time. In 2014, Jerry started work on some pants that were not only tough enough to stand up to real play, but also had some features missing from other pants, like an internal key/ID card holder.

Tampa Bay Damage have been wearing the pants in the 2015 season, and are yet to have any breakages of any kind – the heavy duty padding, stitching and zippers/closures have stood up to the pro test.

The pants are tough – sure, but they are also super light and breathable – designed by Jerry for the Florida heat.

Help Jerry

Jerry Desvarieux had a nasty car accident. We all want to see him on the field again, so as a tribute to Jerry, 100% of the profits on these pants will go to Jerry, to help him get back onto the field. Help yourself and help Jerry, its a win-win.

Nike makes a paintball shoe – but it’s not what we’d expect

Calvin Johnson Jr. got his first signature shoe with Nike in 2012, and has been working with Nike designers ever since then to create the most responsive and efficiently effective sneakers they could make. The last two years they’ve been working on the CJ3, and Nike is set to launch a new colorway that just may grab sneakerheads’ attention.

The Nike CJ3 Flyweave Trainer looks like some kind of KD 7, especially in this “Paintball” colorway that’s almost reminiscent of Durant’s famous “Nerf” mockups. Both celebrate casual games, paintball being one of Johnson’s favorite extra-curricular activities.

The one piece upper is made possible through Nike’s Flyweave technology that has been optimized to vary the thickness and weave of the upper to offer strength where it’s needed and lightness where it’s most useful. The Trainer, unlike the Cleat, sits on a Zoom Air sole (almost identical to the LeBron 12) with a translucent outsole showing off the multicolored hexagonal midsole features.

The Paintball colorway boasts an internally constrasting light and medium grey upper with details in a wide variety of bright colors through the branding, Flywires and lining. A splatter effect hits the mudguard as well as the lateral swoosh and lining.

Check for the CJ3 Flyweave Trainer “Paintball” to launch this Friday June 26

SAN DIEGO – A group of friends are sailing to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in a small sailboat to help underprivileged children in the area.
On Monday night, the 27-foot “Fandango” left the Marina Cortez where it had been docked for several months.

Scott Kemp and Ryan Greenspan, both professional paintball players, and another friend who once worked for the U.S. Coast Guard, toyed with the idea of going on a long term sailing trip, saying it was on their bucket lists.

Now that they have the Fandango, they plan on going on a 7 to 10 day trip to Cabo San Lucas, where they plan to sell it, and give 100% of the proceeds to a charity called “Gente Joven Por Un Cambio.” The charity provides education for underprivileged children in the area.

The trip itself is about 900 miles long and with Tropical Storm Blanca brewing in the area, it will be no easy trek. However, Kemp and Greenspan said they should miss the storm, and will have friends monitoring the weather for their safety.

The pair’s paintball sponsors and loyal social media fans helped generate more than $12,000 on their Kickstarter account, which helped them turn the Fandango into shape.

Kemp said they bought the boat from a woman on Craigslist half a year ago and admitted, before its makeover, the boat was not in any shape to be sailed out of San Diego Bay.

Colt Roberts and Archie Montemayor from Xfactor both had been playing outstanding paintball the entire event, but Justin Cornell, Josh Ouimet and the rest of Impact had just taken down the formidable Houston Heat in a low scoring but very tight match.
